Dog Boarding at our Facility
Going on holiday ? Let your dog enjoy one too at Macleay Valley Dog Services — a home-away-from-home for your furry friend ! Our facility is thoughtfully designed to prioritise your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being — giving you complete peace of mind whether you're away for a weekend or an extended stay.
With dogs at the centre of our lives and work every day, we make sure your best friend’s physical, mental, and emotional needs are met — all while ensuring they’re having the time of their life. Our structured care includes plenty of fun and enrichment through planned activities, swimming, walks, playtime, and of course, adequate rest time.
SLEEPING & DAILY ACTIVITIES
Dog boarding is available 365 days a year, giving you the ultimate flexibility. Each night, visiting dogs sleep in secure, indoor kennels with one of us sleeping out in the shed with them. This ensures they are cozy, secure, and safe overnight, but most of all, calm and happy with a human around! During the day (approx 7 am to 9 pm), dogs enjoy plenty of time outdoors — either in secure exercise yards or joining in on a variety of fun, engaging activities at their own pace. We also ensure we spend quiet time during the day, helping dogs settle and unwind with calm companionship. All involvement is on the dog’s own terms, and their own choice. We welcome participation, but never force it. We just let the dogs enjoy themselves in their own way. :)
REQUIREMENTS TO BOARD
Dogs 12 months of age and older need to be desexed

DROP-OFF & WHAT TO PACK
We recommend dropping off your dog(s) in the morning, so they can spend their first day settling in, running, sniffing, and playing, before heading off to bed tired and relaxed.
Upon drop-off, please allow time to sign dog boarding paperwork and pass on any other instructions you may have.
You have the option to pack your dog’s usual food, or have us provide food to your dog through their stay. If you are proving food, please pack it for your dog(s), preferably in pre-portioned meals, and clearly labelled. We recommend packing at least 1.5x what they would normally eat. Additional fees will occur if we need to purchase any food for your dog.
Please pack any medications for your dog(s), along with clear instructions on when to administer them. We will administer these free of additional charges.
You can pack a familiar blanket or bed for your dog(s) if you would like, however it is not a necessity. We have a wealth of comfy beds and blankets which we can provide to your dog. Bedding is changed and thoroughly cleaned between doggy guests, and are regularly swapped out during each dog’s stay.
We recommend leaving toys at home, and letting your dog(s) enjoy our toys during their stay. We can’t guarantee any toys you pack will return with your dog, as the others often like to get in on the fun !
Please contact us with any other questions !
